I’m Ellie, the engineer behind ellie.tty. Terminal princess is less a job title than a design constraint: I believe a command line can be powerful without looking like punishment. I spend my days growing small open-source tools that make keyboard-first work feel a little more delightful.

That obsession started with Bubble Tea and Lip Gloss. The moment I rendered my first pastel-bordered box, I was hooked. Now I chase that same feeling in everything I build: crisp layouts, gentle colours, and interactions that respond the instant you press a key.

When I’m not in a tmux session, you’ll find me curating dotfiles, sketching ANSI art, and drinking far too much tea. I care about accessibility, kindness in open source, digital sovereignty, and the tiny details that make software feel considered rather than merely shipped.
